Canadian Red Cross conducts Bunz Trading Zone promotion
The Canadian Red Cross of Toronto has begun a sponsorship promotion in association with the Bunz Trading Zone, a mobile application and Facebook group via which users can trade merchandise they no longer need. According to the organization, this is the first time the trading service has engaged in a sponsorship program.
Aimed primarily at millennial-aged consumers, the sponsorship seeks to raise awareness of the Red Cross by flagging items available for trade which would be useful in the event of a disaster. The organization is also trading users for items that they should have in an emergency preparedness kit.
