Tourisme Montreal conducts Sorry Toronto promotion
Tourisme Montréal recently conducted a promotion in Toronto that involved an airplane towing a banner over the city which ready "Sorry Toronto!" The message was intended to be an advance apology for the noise Montreal will make during its 375th anniversary celebrations next year. The promotion was developed by Lg2 with media work from Touché and media provided by Aerogram. The initiative took place during the first week of December, accompanied by posters directing consumers to a website at <http://joinmontreal375.tourisme-montreal.org> for more information. The effort also included an online video depicting Montreal residents knocking on doors in Toronto to distribute tickets for free trips to Montreal.
