Passage: Paul Hetu
Paul Hétu, vice-president of the Montreal chapter of the Association of Canadian Advertisers, passed away suddenly on May 14. Hétu joined the organization in 2003. Prior to that, he was vice-president of marketing at Réno-Dépôt. He also spent 19 years at PNMD Communication, culminating in the position of vice-president, partner and co-owner. Hétu also worked at Ogilvy & Mather and Cossette.
"For nearly 14 years, Paul was the driving force behind ACA's success in the Quebec market," said Ron Lund, president and CEO of the ACA. "He was well-known, liked and respected by all. Paul was a consummate team player with everyone in the Toronto office and a personal sounding board and friend to me."
