New chief marketing officer at L'Oreal Canada
Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Canada has promoted Stéphanie Binette to the position of chief marketing officer. She will begin work on Aug. 1. Outgoing CMO Stéphane Bérubé has been promoted to chief marketing officer for western Europe at L'Oréal Group.
Binette joined L'Oréal Canada in 2006 as group leader for the Garnier brand. In 2008 she became director of marketing for colour and hair care brands at L'Oréal Paris. In 2010 she became brand manager of Maybelline New York in Canada. In 2013 she was promoted to general manager for Garnier-Maybelline-Essie, and became general manager of L'Oréal Paris in 2015.
