Thetford Mines begins rebranding initiative
The City of Thetford Mines in Quebec has begun the development of a new corporate brand intended to reflect its "vitality and diversity." The project includes the creation of a new visual identity and an accompanying communications plan. According to the city, the branding will be used to attract investment and tourism. The work is being done with $600,000 in funding from the Government of Canada, provided through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions.
"The new visual identity project was a priority in the city's strategy for stimulating economic and tourism development and will help make Thetford Mines a destination of choice for tourists, business people and new residents," said Marc-Alexandre Brousseau, Mayor of Thetford Mines.
