Montreal artificial intelligence firms form agreement

Montreal-based artificial intelligence marketing company Automat Technologies has signed an agreement with Element AI, an artifical intelligence software developer also based in Montreal. Through this agreement, the two companies will collaborate on marketing products combining the AI systems of both firms.

According to Automat, its system uses machine learning to permit marketers to track what their consumers care about and create more personalized messages for them, largely delivered by mobile applications. Element AI's system focuses on computer vision, predictive analytics and recommendations.

"At Automat, we provide technology that gives brands the ability to have a conversation with consumers using artificial intelligence," said Andy Mauro, CEO of Automat. "With the help of Element AI, customers can now integrate additional capabilities that extend our proprietary language and optimization capabilities to enable messaging experiences that can see and learn as well as talk."
