Cadillac Fairview sponsors Canadian Olympic Committee
Toronto-based real estate company Cadillac Fairview has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Olympic Committee. During the 11-year agreement, Cadillac Fairview will be the "official home of Team Canada." Cadillac Fairview will participate in a series of consumer promotions at its shopping mall and office building properties during the lead-up to the 2018 Winter Games in China. According to the company, these initiatives will be intended to encourage consumers to "rally behind our national athletes." As part of the deal, the Canadian Olympic Committee will relocate its Toronto office to the office building at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
"CF has a long history of transforming and supporting the communities we operate in, developing meaningful relationships that extend beyond bricks and mortar," said John Sullivan, president and CEO of Cadillac Fairview. "We believe in the power of great teams and, following months of planning, we are excited to officially join forces with the COC and look forward to building a program that will bring the Olympic spirit and sense of optimism to Canadians and visitors coast-to-coast in the communities we serve."
