Mexico Tourism Board begins international campaign

The Mexico Tourism Board has begun a new global marketing campaign called "A World of Its Own." The campaign promotes Mexico as a travel destination, with a focus on the scale and diversity of the experiences a visitor can have there.

The effort includes a redesigned website at <>, accompanied by digital materials, social media activities and public relations. Advertising, consumer promotions and special events will begin in various international markets in October. A 360-degree interactive online video will be released in December, depicting various Mexican experiences. The creative will highlight tourism products such as beaches, adventure and nature exploration, cruises, cultural experiences, events, luxury options, sustainability and cuisine.

"It's time for Mexico to connect with travelers on a more personal level, now more than ever," said Emmanuel Rey, chief marketing officer at the Mexico Tourism Board. "'A World of Its Own' will both engage consumers by sharing the breadth of experiences Mexico has to offer and, more importantly, challenge travelers to live life to the fullest, awaken their drive to imagine and ensure travel is an important part of how they discover the world and themselves."
