Outfront Media debuts Yonge-Dundas installation

Outfront Media has activated the first display screens of its digital signage installation at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. The 10-year agreement includes a total of 10 screens, five of which will be used exclusively by Yonge-Dundas Square for the display of community and event messages. The full installation, due to be complete in February 2018, will include a four-sided media tower incorporating Yonge-Dundas Square branding.

"This marks a unique relationship, enabling Outfront to partner with this key community and event space within Toronto," said Michele Erskine, CEO for Canada at Outfront. "This project will dramatically enhance the visitor experience at events, while providing a vehicle for ongoing communication during non-event periods. Yonge-Dundas Square is a unique space within the city and our project makes it possible for even the smallest community group to enhance its use of the square with an immersive digital display system. This is a unique collaboration between corporate and municipal partners that directly benefits the community."
