Tim Hortons begins Warm Wishes promotion

Tim Hortons has begun a holiday season promotion called "Warm Wishes" intended to encourage support of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. The annual initiative encourages consumers to donate to the foundation at Tim Hortons locations nationally. The proceeds will go to the foundation's efforts to provide camp experiences to youth from low-income families. The effort includes in-restaurant materials and social media activities. Consumers will be invited to post to Twitter or Instagram the ways in which they help others through "everyday acts of kindness." For each post using a campaign hashtag, the company will donate one dollar to the foundation.

"At Tim Hortons, we proudly support our communities across the country and through the programs offered by the THCF we're able to make a true difference by helping kids build brighter futures," said Sami Siddiqui, president of Tim Hortons Canada. "We're excited for this year's 'Warm Wishes' campaign in support of the THCF and look forward to witnessing the continued generosity of our guests and restaurant owners as we work together to benefit youth in our communities."
