Air Canada releases new advertising
Air Canada of Montreal has released a new holiday-themed campaign called "Our Home." The effort consists of television, online and cinema advertising which will run through the holiday season. The creative features actor Ryan Reynolds narrating scenes of personal connections to places called home.
"The feeling of home is about something much more than a place," said Andy Shibata, managing brand director at Air Canada. "We wanted to express what Canadians are feeling about their homes as they reunite with loved ones and also show our pride in a country the world admires so much but we simply all call home."
The initiative is part of a larger ongoing campaign that began in November. The company invited consumers to submit stories via social media about people with whom they would like to spend the holidays. Eight winners received pairs of tickets to fly these people home.
