Bell Media, Bloomberg Media ready new business news property

Bell Media of Toronto and Bloomberg Media of New York are preparing to launch a new business news property called BNN Bloomberg. The digital, television and radio property will debut in the spring. It will consist of a combination of Bell's existing BNN property with content from Bloomberg's Canadian news bureaus in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver.

The television component of the brand will include international news coverage from Bloomberg as well as existing BNN content. The channel's website will be relaunched at <> and will provide articles, videos and stock market data. In addition, BNN Bloomberg will be the main distributor of Bloomberg Radio content in Canada. Bell Media Radio will add various radio reports and programs to its stations nationally, as well as create a new IHeartRadio channel for the brand.

"BNN Bloomberg will evolve Canadian business news for years to come, while also offering considerable and valuable content to our radio stations across the country."
