Bell Media launches SnackableTV

Bell Media has debuted a new property called SnackableTV that will specialize in short-form video content. The advertising-supported service will be free to consumers, primarily via a mobile application for Android and Apple devices. The service at launch offers 45 series from brands including HBO, Comedy Central, Just For Laughs, ETalk and Gusto, as well as original content. SnackableTV will operate without advertising during its launch phase to encourage consumer trial.

"Today's launch of SnackableTV represents an innovative, all-Canadian solution that addresses an open space in today's user landscape, providing short-form premium content tailored for Canadian audiences and advertisers alike," said Randy Lennox, president od Bell Media. "As SnackableTV grows, so will its inventory of popular news, comedy and entertainment offerings as we leverage some of the most sought-after entertainment brands, both in Canada and from around the world."
