University of Toronto signs deal with Rouge Media

The University of Toronto has signed an agreement with Rouge Media of Toronto, making the agency the exclusive representative for out-of-home advertising in the new student commons area at its downtown campus. The 24-hour community space will open in the spring. It will offer study and lounge spaces, student services, meeting and event spaces for student clubs and rehearsal spaces. Rouge will install and operate a number of digital display screens, mobile device charging stations and wall murals in the commons.

"The university has always brought and continues to bring more for its students to foster the community and learning spirit that it is well known for," said Marc-Andre Demers, vice-president of network and relationship development at Rouge Media. "This student-funded commons is a landmark development for current and future students. We are extremely excited with this partnership and the exclusive opportunity to be present in the new student commons."

Rouge Media already operates a variety of ad display on University of Toronto campuses, including murals and digital displays.
