Canada Goose debuts custom shade of blue
Toronto-based outerwear company Canada Goose has debuted a customized shade of the colour blue to mark the 10th anniversary of its sponsorship of Polar Bears International. The organization works to preserve polar bears and their habitats. The colour, called PBI Blue, has been released to coincide with International Polar Bear Day. It was developed in association with the Pantone Color Institute. Canada Goose will sell a line of parkas and jackets in the colour, donating $50 from each sale to Polar Bears International.
"PBI Blue is a buoyant and uplifting marine blue shade that directly links us to nature and our ecosystem," said Laurie Pressman, vice-president of Pantone. "Long associated with loyalty and devotion, the creation of the PBI Blue Pantone is the perfect way to celebrate the 10-year partnership between Canada Goose and PBI."
