Bicom Communications launches B Nation unit
Montreal-based Bicom Communications has launched a new influencer marketing unit called B Nation. According to the company, the unit will focus on "nano-influencers," which it defines as social media personalities with fewer than 1,000 followers. The unit will encourage such people to register with its service, and then use them as a network for the distribution of brand communications.
"Intuitively, the next step was to reach out to Canadians from coast to coast to build a community with whom we could engage and maintain a special relationship," said Vicky Boudreau, co-founder of Bicom. "The results of [a recent] study indicate that nano-influencers can hold the power of persuasion."
