Tourisme Montreal introduces Bonjour Chine program
Tourisme Montreal has begun a new program called "Bonjour Chine" intended to increase consumer satisfaction among tourists from China. The training program is aimed at approximately 150 organizations related to the Montreal tourism industry. It is intended to teach participants how to more effectively make Chinese tourists feel welcome and to encourage them to visit other parts of Quebec. The one-day training event is sponsored by OTT Pay, a mobile payment service specializing in the Chinese market.
"This certification enables us to rise to the occasion and fulfill our role as the official port of entry to Quebec," said Yves Lalumière, president and CEO of Tourisme Montreal. "We plan to collaborate with key tourism associations within Quebec and offer this training to their members."
