RBC, WestJet ready new loyalty program

RBC of Toronto and WestJet of Calgary are preparing to launch a new loyalty program called Ampli before the end of the year. The digital program will provide participants with special offers from merchants as well as loyalty points and other bonuses. Consumers who make purchases with RBC credit cards or travel on WestJet flights will receive additional points. According to the companies, the new program will be offered in addition to their existing loyalty programs.

"The Canadian loyalty landscape is ready for disruption, and Ampli is a fundamental shift in the business model," said Dave McKay, president and CEO of RBC. "We are bringing together top Canadian brands to help them reach consumers more efficiently and effectively. We will also provide consumers with opportunities to earn rewards and save money like never before."
