Wild On Media debuts sailboat advertising
Toronto-based out-of-home advertising company Wild On Media has introduced a new service that will offer sailboat-based advertising. Through the summer, the company will sail a number of boats around Toronto harbourfront area, each with a pair of sails measuring 600 square feet and 900 square feet. The sails will be printed with advertising creative. Additional material can also be placed on the hulls. The company estimates a campaign would gather 12.9 million impressions over a four week period.
"We see the sailboat ads as a natural choice for lifestyle brands, including beverage and destination brands," says George Christidis, president of Wild On Media. "The model has been hugely successful in other countries, especially our southern neighbours."
