Air Canada conducts holiday loyalty promotion
Air Canada has begun a holiday season campaign aimed at participants in its Aeroplan loyalty program. During the initiative, the airline will match loyalty points donated by consumers to the Air Canada Foundation Hospital Transportation Program. The foundation works to provide air transportation for children in need of medical treatment. The "Mile Matching" campaign will run until Dec. 9.
"Since the inception of the Aeroplan donation program in 2006, more than one billion Aeroplan miles have been donated by our members and Aeroplan to grassroots and partner charities across Canada," said Anne-Josee Laquerre, director of social purpose and sustainability at Aeroplan. "Each and every mile donated to the Air Canada Foundation has the power to significantly impact the lives of children and their family."
