Lot No. 40 readies Night Market event
Corby Spirit and Wine is preparing a promotional event for its Lot No. 40 rye whisky brand in Toronto. The event, called "The New Old Fashioned Night Market," will take place on Dec. 7 and 8. It will feature a number of local artists as well as cocktail recipes thematically related to their work. According to the company, the event is intended to "celebrate the re-invention and discovery of classic artforms." The promotion is being conducted in association with Young Offenders. Following its debut in Toronto, the event will move to additional Canadian cities.
"Lot No. 40 has grown from a family recipe to the whisky we know and love today," said Chris Bhowmik, brand director for Canadian whisky and gin at Corby Spirit and Wine. "As a brand that has re-invented itself over time, we feel that this platform is a great showcase for our appreciation of artists that are also continuously refining their art, while breathing new life into old forms."
