Hill Street signs media deal with ZoomerMedia
The Hill Street Beverage Co. of Toronto has signed a three-year promotional agreement with ZoomerMedia, also based in Toronto. Through this agreement, Hill Street will make use of $1.2 million in media space to promote its various alcohol-free and cannabis-infused beverage products. In exchange, ZoomerMedia will receive 2.5 million Hill Street stock options at the price of 21 cents per share. ZoomerMedia specializes in radio, television, print digital and live event properties aimed at consumers over the age of 45. These properties include VisionTV, OneTV, JoyTV, FaithTV, The New Classical FM, Zoomer Radio, Zoomer Magazine, On The Bay Magazine and The ZoomerShow.
“We've had tremendous success with a number of our recent marketing campaigns, including our Hill Street Challenge, by leveraging Zoomer Radio and Zoomer Magazine,” said Terry Donnelly, chairman and CEO of Hill Street. “Zoomer's media personalities have been extraordinary, authentic brand ambassadors for us, sharing the benefits of going alcohol-free with their listeners and helping them understand that they don't have to compromise on taste when they choose an alcohol-free lifestyle. And with the upcoming launch of our cannabis-infused products, which will be available as soon as cannabis-edibles become legal in Canada, we're confident we can take our partnership with Zoomer Media to the next level.”
