Unifor sponsors No Stone Unturned concert
Labour union Unifor will sponsor a free concert event called “No Stone Unturned” in Winnipeg on July 27. This will be the 11th annual edition of the concert, which is intended to raise awareness of missing and murdered persons in the province of Manitoba. It will include performances by Hector Menow, Indian City, C-Weed, Rhonda Head, DMP, Keira Barrett, the Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers and the Poplar River Steppers.
“No Stone Unturned in an important community-driven effort to raise awareness and commit to ending systemic violence and work for reconciliation,” said Jerry Dias, national president of Unifor. “We're proud to be a part of this event and the broader movement it represents.”
