Sirius XM expands agreement with Amazon
Toronto-based satellite radio company Sirius XM Canada has formed an agreement with Amazon to make its on-demand content available to users to Alexa and Echo devices. This content includes approximately 10,000 hours of interviews, documentaries, musical performances and comedy shows. This is an expansion of an existing agreement between the two companies which makes 300 channels of live Sirius content available through these devices. The new agreement also includes access to a new Sirius feature called Personalized Stations Powered by Pandora, operated in association with the music streaming service of the same name.
