McDonald's breaks national campaign thanking farmers
McDonald's Canada broke a national advertising campaign today intended to pay tribute to the Canadian farmers who produce the beef, chicken, eggs, potatoes and dairy products used in its products. Developed by Tribal Worldwide of Toronto, the campaign consists of five 15-second television commercials depicting what the Big Mac, Egg McMuffin, McFlurry, Chicken McNuggets and French Fries would be like without these ingredients. The creative also directs consumers to the company's "Our Food. Your Questions." website. The initiative also includes digital and static out-of-home and transit shelter ads, as well as online display, search and social media advertising. The campaign will run for four weeks.
