St. Kitts readies Canadian golf promotion
The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada has formed a multi-year marketing agreement with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. The two organizations will collaborate to promote the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis as a golf and tourist destination in Canada. The initiative will include sponsored events called "Club Nights" at participating NGCOA Canada facilities intended to raise awareness of St. Kitts and its various golf and hotel properties. Forty of these events will take place in 2016, beginning in the spring. The agreement was arranged in association with SportBox Entertainment Group.
"The NGCOA provides customized, scalable coast-to-coast access to 5.7 million Canadians that are responsible for billions of dollars of economic activity," said David Corelli, chief strategy officer at SportBox. "That is a highly sought-after consumer for almost any brand. This marketing vehicle provides an uncluttered and direct channel for brands such as St. Kitts to engage with a demographic that have a high propensity to spend in many consumer categories."
