Dentsu Aegis Network buys S&E Sponsorship Group

The Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired Toronto-based sports and entertainment sponsorship agency S&E Sponsorship Group. S&E will be merged into MKTG, the lifestyle marketing subsidiary of Dentsu Aegis. This will be the first time MKTG has had a presence in Canada.

Agency president and CEO Brian Cooper will continue to head the company as CEO of MKTG Canada. Chief operating officer Matthew Logue and senior vice-president Cori Woolley will also remain with the firm. S&E has a staff of 30. Its clients include Scotiabank, Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Boston Pizza, and Molson Coors.
