Johnsonville begins Facebook breakfast campaign

Sausage company Johnsonville has begun a Facebook campaign promoting the importance of breakfast during the holiday season. Developed by Toronto-based Matchstick, the campaign consists of a full-page interactive image depicting a table of breakfast dishes. Viewers can pan across the table to view each dish and click on the image to receive the relevant recipe at <>.

"So many consumers are turning to social media for recipe inspiration and ideas, especially around the holidays, when they may want to spice up the holiday spread with new recipes or try different twists on their usual repertoire," said Jackie Hendricks, director of international marketing at Johnsonville. "The holidays are a busy time. We wanted to share easy recipes for families to enjoy that are also delicious and use Johnsonville sausage in new and interesting ways."

Johnsonville will continue the campaign in 2017 with additional recipe videos, social media activities, television commercials and print ads.
