Nestle begins Haagen-Dazs promotion in Toronto

Nestlé Canada has begun a promotion in Toronto in support of its Häagen-Dazs ice cream brand. The promotion consists of a temporary retail location called the Bär Häagen-Dazs which will operate for three days per week in downtown Toronto until July 22. The location will serve ice cream with macaron pairings, as well as customized ice cream bars, ice cream cocktails and coffee drinks. According to the company, the location is intended to offer an experience similar to a wine tasting or whisky sampling.

"We wanted Torontonians to explore new, modern ways of enjoying Häagen-Dazs," said Paul De Larzac, marketing director for Häagen-Dazs. "This pop-up showcases our profound passion for creating the world's best ice cream using the finest ingredients. We've put a lot of effort into pairing flavours for flights that represent a particular passion, while also ensuring the space itself encourages the exploration of passion."
